Business Description
Over 600 volunteers participate each year as essential members of our production team. We produce 11 shows each season providing the creative outlet for over 200 actors, dancers and musicians from all backgrounds. Volunteers for all types of tasks are the engine that powers RLT. Whether performers, backstage crew members, carpenters, painters, seamstresses, box office workers, house managers or ushers, they all give their time and energy, providing the theatre the best kind of support.
RLT’s six-acre site is an urban jewel that includes two indoor theatres, an outdoor amphitheatre and the exquisite Raleigh Rose Garden. Parking is free in our private lot. All of our shows are performed at RLT, located near NC State University and just off Hillsborough Street, next to Cameron Village. RLT is easy to find whether you’re coming from downtown, the Beltline or I-40.
